This “just for fun” 6×50 free relay exhibition is a new IGLA tradition. We have spots for 8 relays (48 swimmers) Swimmers signup with their estimated time for a 50m Free and we try to form teams that have similar total times and mix you up to meet swimmers from other teams. Each swimmer in a relay gets a different color cap and swims in the order of the rainbow (from purple to red). Sign-up at the Clerk of Course table if not done ahead of time.
SWIM MEET TIMELINE
The timeline below is an estimate only. Your swim time may be before or after the times indicated. For individual events less than 400m, heat and lane assignments will be available on SwimPhone by 3pm the day before the event is swum. Team representatives and coaches may also get a copy of the daily heat sheet at the beginning of each day.
Swimmers who miss their heats will not be allowed to swim in another heat – plan to arrive early to the pool and consider potential traffic/shuttle delays.
For the events marked with an asterisk (*) below positive check-in is required by the deadlines indicated below AND will be swum in two pools.
ODD numbered heats will be in the “main” pool adjacent to the dive tank,
EVEN numbered heats in pool adjacent to the scoreboard.
